    Description

    This piece was cast using the coveted Vienna cold bronze technique. The labor-intensive technique involves casting each piece in several pieces and welding them together. The process gets its name from the final surface finish, which is achieved by machining the casting surface and then applying several layers of lead paint. Pieces made with this technique are often whimsical and amusing, and highly sought after by collectors.
