About Moonaries illo

Moonaries illo, that is Windy Lau, a freelance illustrator based in Oslo, and her human-like black cat Mocha. It all started in 2021, when Windy shared a Mocha illustration on Instagram showing him trapped in a cookie jar because he tried to steal cookies (it happens to the best of us). People liked it so much that Windy started to create more and more illustrations of Mocha's daily shenanigans. Apart from stealing cookies, Mocha does also like to complain about work and his day does not start without coffee. He does also enjoy some me-time which includes passionate laziness. Today, Mocha made it on cat stationery such as planners, notepads, cards and washi tapes but also on enamel pins, tote bags, art prints and mugs. A real popstar!
