Description
In fact, Pablo Picasso once painted a "cat lady". However, in the painting Dora Maar au Chat - as the title suggests - his muse Dora Maar is the center of attention and, well, that can't be. The little black cat is just walking along the back of the chair in the background.
Fortunately, in Picasso's Le Rêve of 1932, British artist Niaski has found a conspicuously large gap in the lap of the dreaming Marie-Thérèse Walter, a lover of Picasso's, which gives the sleepy cat a much more prominent place. In painting, 'searching' means nothing, in my opinion. What matters is finding, Picasso once said.
This high quality art print (A4) is signed by Niaski and printed with a white border on textured Accent Calisto paper by British brand G.F Smith. It is the purrfect gift for all cat lovers who would never move from the spot as long as a cat sits on them.
